April 21, 2024.One way to feed the bees and deal with winter condensation is to roll white sugar into newspaper and place it in the top of the hive under the outercover. It absorbs moisture and when the bees find it they have a nice snack.This beekeeper wanted to save a section of wildcomb her bees made, so she rubberbanded it into a frame. The bees turned it into a whole frame of beeswax and filled it with honey.The cluster of this dead out became so small that they couldn’t keep their queen warm. March, 2024. They learned how to handle frames, manipulate a hive tool, and to read the bees.
