Spring is buzzing and so are we.

Spring is here, the bees are buzzing and hopefully our new Bees have ordered their bees.

But what do you do when you’ve got them?

Stop by this months meeting of the Leatherstocking Beekeepers’ Association to meet fellow beekeepers, share stories from the apiary, learn what to do if you find a swarm, and learn all about what to look for during the first inspection of those new colonies.

After the educational portion we will hold the club business meeting where we will be electing club officers such as the secretary, treasurer and the vice president. This meeting and elections are open to the membership.

This meeting will take place at 7 p.m., Thursday, April 25 at The Farmers’ Museum, Cooperstown.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Club members Stephanie Wardwell, Larissa Ryan, Jennifer Bowen, Kirill and Oskar Grechkin, and Steve Davis were on hand for the 2024 Earth Day Festival at Milford Central School. (Not pictured Maria Ilina and Richard Lercari)
